A seamless process that allows people to communicate with their elected officials on the things that matter.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Every elected official should have a Twitter account and should be constantly engaging with the people!
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
Elected Officials. We want them to see that the music community is one with a voice and one they should pay attention to!
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
No we haven't ... we encourage people to have opinions and express them.
Why should we vote for you?
Voting for us is a vote for bringing democracy to the people and making sure that no matter what party you support, your voice is heard.

What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Registering an 18 year old to vote in their first election through Twitter. Doesn't get much better than that.
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
#925nvrd: we used this hashtag for National Voter Registration Day and were able to register over 40,000 people online.
How do you make your tweets unique?
We pun for fun and we try to make the mundane interesting.
What inspires you to tweet?
The idea that this generation will be active, informed & empowered to make positive changes in America.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Not to our faces...I mean a tweet only has a 30 minute lifespan, right?

Never be afraid to make a statement. Opinions should always encourage conversation so make your voice heard (& shorten your links).
How long can you go without a tweet?
Depends on how much sleep we're getting ...

Soon Twitter will make elected officials more accessible to the public and strengthen democracy in America.

Keeping people informed on big issues that effect their life & the music that will make them happy!

Tweeting is the best way to constantly stay engaged with the masses. It keeps people informed and empowers them.

In 2012 we registered over 40,000 people through Twitter and Facebook - it helped us reach a place we never thought possible.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Encourage people to have a voice and speak out on the issues that matter - especially people of influence.
How will the world change in the next year?
The use of social media will drive forward social and political change and empower a generation.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Selfies, excessive hashtags and politicians getting their Twitter accounts "hacked".
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
The world will be filled with music lovers who are passionate about democracy and giving back to their community.
